| [English version at the end] Liebe Leute, während der letzten Monate kein neuer newsletter und auch auf der Internetseite schien sich nichts zu bewegen. Aber es hat sich einiges getan: Cem hat die Internetseiten weiter verbessert: Klickt man auf www.culture-tour.com lässt sich auf der neuen Startseite eine Zusammenfassung des bisherigen Reiseverlaufs und die letzten News nachlesen sowie die zuletzt eingestellten Tagebucheinträge und Fotos einsehen. Auch gibt es hier jetzt einen Voting Bereich. Als erste Umfrage interessiert uns natürlich euer feedback zu den neuen Seiten. Dönne hat aber auch einige seiner Hausaufgaben gemacht und so lassen sich unter "The diary" eine Reihe neuer Berichte zu Exkursionen nach Kappadokien, an die türkische Riviera, an die Ägäis und zum Leben und Arbeiten in der Mega-Millionenstadt Istanbul nachlesen. Die Artikel werden durch mehrere Hundert frischer Fotos - die aufgrund einer neuen Kamera wesentlich hochwertiger sind - visuell untermalt. Weitere Berichte und Fotos zu Impressionen aus Istanbul folgen in den nächsten Tagen und am 12.07. startet die Reise in die Osttürkei, in Karl May's wilde Kurdistan. Ein Visastempel von Syrien, dem kürzlich von einigen Cowboys ebenfalls zum Reich des Bösens gestempelten Nachbarstaat der Türkei, ist auch bereits im Pass. On tour - folgt so mehr. Also schaut wieder rein, klickt euch durch und lasst mal von euch hören. Da ich jetzt - Dank sei dem Hirn und den Programmierhänden meines webmasters und unseres neuen "content-management-systems" - alle Berichte und Bilder von unterwegs selbständig einstellen und in real time freischalten kann, lohnt sich jetzt in Zukunft auch zwischen zwei newslettern mal einen Blick auf die Seite zu werfen um den letzten Stand der Reise zu ersehen. ___________________________________________ Dear folks, no new newsletter during the last months and no obvious movement on the internet site. But big chances have occurred in the meantime: Cem has improved the internet site: Once you click on www.culture-tour.com a new homepage will allow you to read the summary of the journey up to today and brand new news as well as it enables you see the latest diary entry and most recently posted pictures. Here you will also find a voting section. In our first survey we are - of course - eager to hear your feedback concerning the new outfit of our pages. Thomas has also done some of his homework. Pressing "The diary" button will bring you to a series of new reports about trips to Cappadocia, the Turkish Riviera, the Aegean coast and about life and work in the mega-million-habitants-city of Istanbul. The articles are visually popped-up by several hundred fresh fotos which are - thanks to a new camera - of much higher quality. More articles and photos will be incorporated into the "Impressions of Istanbul" report within the next days and on the 12.07. the journey to East Turkey, known to Karl May reader as the Wild Kurdistan, will start.
